Ordering

Blue Star Police Supply has made every effort to simplify the ordering process for you. You can place your order online, by fax, telephone, email or by stopping by our store.

Applicable sales tax will be added to your order for purchased items shipped within Colorado.

Shipping & Delivery

Our standard delivery is usually done via UPS. Orders of in-stock merchandise received by 12:00 p.m. MST are usually shipped the same day for receipt within 3 – 5 business days. If you need an order sooner than our standard method of delivery, you can specify 2-Day or Next Day. An additional priority handling charge of $10.00 will also apply.

Returns & Replacements

At Blue Star Police Supply, your satisfaction is very important to us. So if you are unsure about an item, please call and speak with us BEFORE ordering.

If an item does not meet your expectations or satisfaction, you need to return it within ten (10) days of the shipping date. We will gladly issue store credit or exchange any product that we currently offer that is in unused condition and in its original packaging. Items that have been worn or washed cannot be returned.

Special Order items cannot be returned for credit or exchange unless the return is related to our error.

We will credit the value of the item and any taxes you were charged. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is related to our error.

Please follow the following procedures:

  1. Download, complete and sign a Fax Order/Return Form, which can be found at the “Fax Orders” link. Return this form with your item.
  2. Call us for a Return Authorization number. Package the item with the RA# clearly visible on the exterior of the return shipping carton. Returns will not be accepted without this number.
  3. Return items MUST be in new condition, in original packaging and with all tags attached. Items that have been worn, washed or polished are NOT eligible for return.
  4. Returns AFTER ten (10) days, must still follow the above process, but will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.

All products sold by Blue Star Police Supply are covered by a manufacture’s warranty. Many products carry a lifetime warranty. Items that require repair or replacement should be returned directly to the manufacturer. We will be happy to assist you with addresses and telephone numbers, but please do not return these items to Blue Star Police Supply, as this will slow down this process. If you have a problem, or question, please contact us.

A. Yes, we utilize 128 bit - SSL encryption. Shopping online with this protection is probably safer than everyday credit card purchases.

Q. Does Blue Star share my information with others?
A. Because we work with Federal, State, County and local law enforcement we take great pride in keeping your information secure and safe. We will never share any of your personal data or information with anyone else.

Q. Are you a real store? And where are you located?
A. Yes, we are. We have operated a retail store in Denver, Colorado since 2003. Our physical address with a map is located on the “Contact Us” link.

Q. Do you sell items to people who are not law enforcement professionals?
A. Yes, the majority of items that we offer that are available for civilians. Items that are restricted and available only for law enforcement personnel are designated with an “R” in their item number.

Q. Is it legal for me to have certain items (example: pepper spray, ASP batons, etc.) in my city or state?
A. Blue Star sells products that may be prohibited, controlled, restricted or illegal in some cities, counties or states. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking your local laws and being sure that you will not be in violation of any ordinances or laws by possession any products, which you purchase.

Q. How old do I have to be to purchase items from Blue Star?
A. Blue Star does not sell products to or for children. You must be 18 or over to purchase items from us.

Q. How do I know what size I should order?
A. On the bottom of the Home page, you will find a “Sizing” link. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us.

Q. What is Blue Star’s return policy?

Q. What about Warranty issues?
A. All items covered by manufacturers warranty should be returned directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. We will be happy to assist you with addresses and telephone numbers, but please do not return these items to Blue Star Police Supply as this will slow down the entire process.
